i still fly with the stock 1800 mA battery all the way forward and have no idea how much weight i added to the nose, but get 10-12 minute flights no problem. if i fly any longer than that, my brain...

mine was the same way. the problem with not getting the swash level is that it may not be able to pull the heli backwards when you need it. i had a hard time stopping my heli during fast forward...

now that you found a bad servo, it looks like you solved your twitch/glitch problem. the contact cleaner would be much better than the wd40. all you are really trying to do is clean any crud off...

must be an epidemic crashinbash! i just did the same thing to my main rotor head this morning. all of it could have been avoided. my heli has been glitching badly lately but i had the itch to fly...

thanks obi1. i didnt even think of using the blade grips from my old blades as guides. i thought you were just eyeballing where to drill the new holes. will give it a try sometime this week.

i have an extra set of 315mm blades (just in case) and have always wondered how the belt would fly with the 325mm blades. keep us posted when you try them out. seems like you would have more lift...

both my 1800 mA 20c batteries (different brands) also take 3.5 hrs to fully charge when drained down to about 15% remaining. i connect my wall power adapter to an auto timer so that it always shuts...

i dont know the length of the motor mount screws but i went ahead and filed them down today after reading about shorting problems on this forum. before filing them down, i did have 10 successful...

as far as oils and lube go. i think i read it earlier on this thread and now use the 3 in 1 oil on my belt. im not sure how the heli ran without it because it has been lubed from my first flight. so...

i noticed that the servos plug in both directions (right side up and upsidown) make sure all the servo plugs are in with the white wire facing up

those 5.5mm sockets are pricey but just what i was looking for. those feathering shaft nuts are driving me crazy too. its really frustrating to use 2 needle nose plires
