I finally figured out how to address this issue....

I finally figured out how to address this issue. When you replace a switch you need to manually assign the switch type, the default is auto detection and the auto detect function is not reliable....

Thanks for the info. I had read somewhere that only one of the CP ports was bi-directional, but your explanation provides more clarity and I think I fully understand the CP port dealo now....
