Also add, arching... make sure that the spark plug boot rubber insulator does not have any slits or cuts in it, and the plug is getting the spark every time.

The numbers look good with that 17x6.  It looks to be pretty much the same engine, parts are probably swappable.   for the price you can get it at from HK it's a steal.

I like variety... my LHS only carries brands from the big names, I get tired of the same ol stuff all the time.  Hobby king is always getting something new to try out, that's what I like about them....

I was getting in the 8000s with my rcgf 20cc and a 16x6 prop... I switched to a 17x4 for more pull and I was still gettting good rpms.

yep... My profile is about 7.5 lbs with the 20cc on it and it pulls it strait up with a 16x6-8 or 17x4 APC prop. For sport flying 9-10lbs should be fine.

IMO I would go with the 20cc for anything 90-120 size... That little engine packs a good punch,
