Flying close to people (good thing he was bent over) and automobiles!

It certainly flies well! Smooth and fast. Nice.


2700kv is very high. Are you using a 3cell Lipo? Or the stock...

Mine is brushless and is much more powerful than stock...but nothing like that one in the movie.

It seems to crash at the end of the video....oof

I've tried 3 different of the Tower-Pro motors, 2409-18, 2408-12 and the 21 above. The only real difference is the kV. the 12 needs a larger prop because it turns slower. I use 8x6 Slow Flyer prop...

http://www.graysonhobby.com/catalog/product_info.php?products_id=55 is pretty cheap. I used that combo with my stock batteries and it was a huge improvement.

I am sure that I am a better pilot as a result of flying this thing underpowered for as long as I did.
But....the brushless conversion will not give it anything resembling vertical performance. If...

Congrats on the first successful flight. The first day I flew my cub was in october and I had permagrin I couldn't believe how great it was. But there were many crashes after that....many. A lot...

I flew for the first time this evening. ROG on the first flight, but then hand launched it 3 times after than (practicing landings).
Since it's my first flight ever, I cannot compare the FlyZone®...
