Go with the MCPX. It will work better in the confined spaces and the flybarless system lets it fly in light wind fairly well. Just set it up so that the throtle hold it active and pull that switch...

I think Rob just flew so much on the stock tail that he has already gotten used to it. I could see that being a pain to relearn a heli if you have already gotten you reflexes trained to fly it stock....

The 30 is a limited in the fact that is underpowered. I had mine for a month or so before I really wanted more power. The 50 has plenty and you don't have to have as good of collective management...

I agree with rob. 3-4 min. The batts are dirt cheep at 10 bucks i have 6. That way i never have to wait on the charger. There are ways to use bigger batterys but it takes some modding.
