RE: BME CAP Maniac

Hi Drumbum
The rudder servo arm I used was the black one from Hitec, 2-3/4”-2-7/8”wide. The rudder is very effective on this plane with the setup I have. Here are a few pics of the rudder servo...

RE: BME CAP Maniac

Hi chasrb
No, I could not get the 120 back far enough to the firewall with the supplied mount. I modified a mount that I had left over from another plane which allowed me to but the engine to the...

RE: BME CAP Maniac

RE: BME CAP Maniac

Hi jgraham
I also had the left elevator tray break loose from the fuselage while screwing the servo in place. I re-epoxied it and added epoxy to the other servo trays to be safe. Same thing happen...

RE: BME CAP Maniac

Hi Guys
The tail on my plane definitely seamed weak. Past experience on similar conditions justified adding them.
The tail wires are not a kit. I made the connection at the stabilizer and...

RE: BME CAP Maniac

I took my Cap Maniac up Sunday for its maiden flight. I have a Magnum 120 4-stroke in it with the CG set to 4-3/4" back from the leading edge. I was only able to get in one flight. The Magnum 120 is...
