thanks...yeah I ended up adding a washer right after I wrote that and sure enough it lowered the compression enough so that it pulled freely...now I just have to learn how to tune an rc car better!

hey man I just bought a redcat lightning and a himoto rapida from a guy off ebay and I have been having a hell of a time getting it to run. Ive had it checked out and it is all set...I got it to run...
