In every case where the manufacturer/retailer provides tension numbers, the chart agrees within about 10%. Sometimes high, sometimes low, but always somewhere between spot-on and plus or minus 10%. ...

High Start Rubber Specs

Here's some additional info in the form of a chart showing most of the major players in the high start market (including TheraBand). It's pretty self explanatory, but be sure to read the notes at...

I have the Craft Air manual for the Windrifter, which would pre-date the Dynaflite kit. I doubt if there were any major changes after Dynaflite bought out Craft Air, so the instructions would...

RE: Sun Rider

If you're an eBay user, you might try this guy... the item didn't sell at $5.95, perhaps he'll negotiate? If you're concerned about eBay rules and regs, simply ask him to re-list it at a lower price,...

RE: 157

As planned, maiden flight was made with CG at 100mm aft of root LE. During a13+ minute flight on 4 brief (20-30 second)motor runs we got in 3 decent dive tests; these tests indicate the plane isstill...

RE: 157

Agree on most points, but I found it very difficult to explain the vast differences in ranges, i.e. 55 to 80mm actual vs 114 to 122mm calculated. Just didn't make sense. After sleeping on it,...
