I'm resurrecting this thread with a small...

I'm resurrecting this thread with a small twist...it's now a build thread for a Norm McFarland 1/4 Pitts. The 1/3 was just too much for me 3 years ago but now I have more patience and room to build....

Well it's not a real one but I'm planning on doing something similar to this. I do know the cowling is split, was curious if you were planning on splitting yours. Well here is a real one ha!

Those panels will really set it apart from the rest of the monocote covered models. This is one of the reasons I like these so much. Are you going to cut the cowl so it can open?

Here we go... Yeah I forgot to put the wax paper down. The plans for the stab were not accurate from center to both sides. I picked the best side of the form and used that side to trace another...
