Nope. Hot glue certainly doesn't melt foam. I got lots of experience..... It also doesn't melt balsa, plastic, aluminum, tape, steel, paper, plywood, magnets, or heat shrink. (well, the last one...

Forgot to say one thing: When picking components for a plane, always put your money in the ESC. Brushless motor quality doesn't matter much unless you're dealing with giant-scale planes or large or...
