Hi, yes the Fuz is glassed -but so long ago I cant recall the weight, but i have a lot of scale detail & flying wires etc which all add to the weight - promise to weigh it all up!

Id cover the wing in film - nothing heavy. The Fuz would be nice glassed - but only if you can do it light - maybe also...

I think 10mm on the elevator & 8mm on ailerons are what weston recommend
this is plenty as far as ailerons are concerned - but you might need more to counter the roll to the right on...

I think the further forward the c-of-g, then the more 'up' elevator you need to flare on landing

Hi, yes 130mm with the tank empty!

Weston (instructions) say it should be 120 - but i have heard folks use it further back to 140mm
(make the landing better... as it coms in less nose down)

well - good news: despight no rain!! just a dull grey sky and blustering wind...

Magnum flew better with the balancing weight on the left wing tip - seems not to vear on take off! WOW this bird...

Hi thanks for that!

I found that 15 to 20g of lead weight on the wingtip made the magnum balance ok along its axis - so it should stay straight & level at all speeds - and not roll out of high...

ballanced at about 130 from leading edge (without fuel) so im happy with it....

But... the wirl of the prop will cause higher lift on one side then the other...

You should always do your range check with the engine running.... I dont think it is essential that it is full throttle.... but this also ensures your throttle channel is OK too!

...Ive had a small muffler on my Webra 61 (with Dynamix carb), where the tapping gave plenty of pressure because this silencer has a lot of steel wool...

The only problem with Dynamix carbs is simply that they work differently, and people often have the wrong settings and struggle. Once set up, they are superb. Ive been using thes for over 15years..
