I was having problems with my engine when I first used the Bisson pitts as well. If you go back in this thread you will see it. I solved the problem by mixing up JB weld and filling in the exhaust...

New set up ...<div>I now have the engine running with the newer style Bisson pitts on it that I had on it last year. It has the ends of the exhaust tips rounded down to restrict the exhaust flow....

I ran my 160 for the first time with the OS muffler instead of the Bisson Pitts. It is currently mounted inverted and I have a Xoar 18x6 on it. It is turning 8400 with 10% XP fuel. I was able to tune...

I couldn't tune it out on mine without the performance suffering from being too rich. I was running a Bisson Pitts, but the new version was supposed to have corrected the problem with lack of back...

Sounds like you may have seized the engine or a bearing. Most likely the piston to the sleave. Only way to tell is to take it apart. May have been a combination of to much load (large prop) and or...

LOL I'll fix it. Had my DL-50 in my head or something.....as for good props they are very nice. Seem to be compared to a Vess. Here is their site.
