Yeah, yoko is expesive, but if you ever put their body next to say hpi it's a class on it's own. I know you're set on the bodies from genki, but there's always r2hobbies and their $16 rip-off bodies....

That is a stock belt, but because he's changed drive pulley from 16 to 10t (I think it's 10), he had to put in an additional pulley in the middle to take out the slack.

Man, this topic has been throu so many times, look into some old posts, but to save you hassle here it goes:
Any 4wd chassis is ok for drifting, its down to tires. The obvious choice is Tamiya TT01...

if you look at that photo you'll see a belt running from motor to front diff, there's another from motor to reaf...

I wouldn't brushless in the beginning. A frind of mine has brushless setup on his TT01 and had to reduce power to 10% to get decent drifts.
