Well, i am absolutley not concerned about the 3.3 times higher weight of a steel core. 3.3 times nearly nothing is still nearly nothing.. :-)
That little M3 tread cut into the really soft aluminum...

the N60 and the direct drive does have enough power so it holds the Falcon absolutley straight even i open the throttle to my brushless (8T) pretty much immediatley. So it has for sure enough power....

You used the stock pinion on the brushless? How is this possible? I thought the stock motor has a smaller shaft than the brushless motor. Mhh. either i am off or it was REALLY REALLY thight.....

It is a super boom.. I figured out that the standard tail boom inflicted some oscillation. If you do a longer boom or anything which makes your F40 havier i strongly recommend that extra cable tie...

Just imagine how it runs on a 11.1V!!!! I will put in an 8 tooth pinion tomorrow. I am not sure if the flying time will go down because of that. Yes, the motor will turn faster at the same rotor...
