I got lucky, and got the Version 2 Zeus from the start. No problems at all. I did hear about guys having troublems with the first batch though.

Thanks, I feel better now...;) I am a military guy living overseas right now. Unfortunitely, I barely have enough time to get to the field for an hour or two on a weekend, let alone scour the net...

DLE 30 TUNING

Hi all. I am running the DLE-30 in my new Pilot RC 26% Extra 260. I have about 5 tanks through the engine on the ground, and 3 in the air.

It runs well on the ground. Transition is smooth...

Can anyone tell me how I can find out if I have a newer DLE with the fix? Also what is a good starting point for the Low and High needles? I have the Low at 1 turn, and High at 2 turns right now.

I had the same problems... Get a Futaba GY-401 Gyro and servo combo. I picked it up from A Main hobbies. Haven't had a problem since:D

Thanks for the help. A lot of good info. Beleive it or not, I went to the Kyosho factory store, and they didn't have ST RR bodies in stock...LOL The Kyosho factory store has everything BUT the ST...

I don't agree with going through a-lot of plugs for break in... I only used the stock plug, and it lasted for the whole break-in process.

20-25% works just fine! Don't worry about that. Actually, the lower percentage is probably better for break in because it will most likely have more lubrication in it, which is what you need for...

I'm using 30% nitro. That's also what I broke in with. The best plugs (by far) are the O.S. P3 (Very Hot) plugs. Make sure you get the P3! The engine will come with one P3 plug. I recommend...

I recommend the O.S. .28 XZ! Torque, Speed, STUPID POWER! Kinda pricey but worth every penny. I run it in my ST-RR. Very easy to tune, and STAYS TUNED! Great engine...Period. I run a Novarossi...
