You shoudn't need to turn on the radio if you have the proper connection on the trainer plug. The radio will turn on automatically with the rf module disabled in trainer mode once the plug is pushed...

Mega 16/15/3 with Castle Creations Phoenix 35A is pretty good and is probably the cheapest brushless combo for the Corona.

Other people have also used the Hacker B40-12S and the Astro 20..

Hmmm.. What blade grips are you using? If you're using a 4 pitch and a 6 pitch, the main rotor speed would be pretty low in high winds, since you'd have the throttle below what you'd normally use...

Well, the highest wind I've flown my Corona in is wind gusts to 30 km/h, approx. 20 mph.. ;) Challenging but fun..

Two 4 pitch grips will increase your head speed and give you more stability.. Since you're going to be using 3S, you might want to buy a 2 pitch grip so you can do a 2 pitch and 4 pitch instead.. ...

The cutting edge in Simulator graphics is currently held by Reflex XTR. You can download two videos and some pics here. If you decide on CSM, just make sure you're running DOS or at the most...

Since they are in Hong Kong, I would advice you to confirm that the radio is in Mode 2 before you order. Most people in Hong Kong fly Mode 1..

Reflex is the most realistic sim for Heli. Free models for download versus having to buy Add-Ons for RealFlight. Also check out the new version of Reflex XTR that will be out Feb/March 2004.

Having metal or carbon fiber in parallel near/next to your antenna can cause wierd things to happen. ALWAYS mount antenna at least 1 inch away from all metal and carbon fiber.
