RE: Losi TLR 22 Buggy (Pics)

The TLR-22 is a great build, but I thought some different screws would be nice. So, I went through the build a few times and picked out some screws I liked for it and bought several sets worth. In...

I have been looking for an attractive next plane to build, so that after this summer of training wraps up, I might have a plane for the next step up. I like to build and fly.

RE: Sig Kadet LT-25

I have this surface over the hotel air-conditioner / heater that is meant to be a padded bench. I set the pads aside and then lay out free advertising papers from the loby to get it very level. ...

RE: Sig Kadet LT-25

The first one I have built and flown had the dihedral knocked in half, from 3 to 1.5 degrees per side. After flying beside the instructor, the instructor told me I could knock off even more,so I...

RE: Sig Kadet LT-25

Sticktickler,

Is there a more advanced kit or plan with these same characteristics you mention above? A second airplane or something between a second and a third airplane with the same...

RE: Sig Kadet LT-25

I ordered a pound of the #67s from SIG since their shipping cost is high anyway. I know a local (to me) hobby store that stocks SIG, and you can just have them get some.

I only have flown once...

RE: 40 to 60 size models in the near future

Rcpilet,

We had issues like that in about 2001 and so in the hi-tech field. Now that field is OKish, and maybe the home-construction field is at risk, I guess. If you are a software engineer,...

RE: What to build after LT-25s (4*25)

He (the instructor) is suggesting just a 3/4" to 1" incline for the dihedral not necessarily for dihedral effect, but toavoid the cosmetics of a flat wing looking like it is really drooping.

RE: What to build after LT-25s (4*25)

Update:

I flew for the first time today. An instructor at the Fox Valley Aero Club in St. Charles, IL helped me out. Just flew for 2 tanks. It gets a little over 10 minutes on the 6 oz. tank....

RE: What to build after LT-25s (4*25)

My eyes were opened a little bit -- I searched for "Bingo 20" and saw a couple new things. ...

RE: Sig 4*40 Now in Hanger!

Store a sheet of "Bounce" dryer sheet in the plane, like where you take off the wing, stuff it in the fuselage there. It is a commonly-used item to drive mice away from that object. People do it in...

What to build after LT-25s (4*25)

Hello. This is my first post here. I hope it is useful.

I have raced rc cars for a while (LiPo, brushless, 1/10th scale off-road) and somehow got interested in planes this year. There are...
