1. Are the shock bodies plastic or aluminum and are they threaded?

I'm sold, I want one! But, $350 for the kit feel steep considering a Wraith kit is $299 (which includes upgrades no on the RTR), a nice SC 4x4 kit is around $250-$300.  By the time I'm finished this...
