I went through several retarct servos (Hitec and JR) before Iswitched to air. If I was adding retracts today I'd use the e-Flite electrics.

The re-maiden flight had a few issues, but once in the air and trimmed if flew great and the DLE 20 ran perfectly.

The new air retracts didn't want...

Ready for the DLE-20cc conversion maiden this weekend, if the weather holds.

With the 20cc, air retracts, 2,300mAh A123 in the stock location she ballanced perfectly at the recommended CG!

Great. Keep checking on it and let me know if you have any suggestions. If this works out I'm going to put a DLE-20 in my TF .60 P-51.

I'm just starting a conversion to a DLE-20 from a .91 four-stroke. Fits great inside the cowl. With the rear carb and beam mount, the DLE is an easy conversion.

Thanks CJ. I watched a guy land all day using flaps even though they weren't needed and I must admit it looked like fun!

The pilot is from Aces of Iron. It's their 1/7th scale WW2 U.S. europe...
