It flies okay (mine was very nose heavy to start with, the CG can probably be measured and inch further back...) and was not good at slow landings. programmed flaps in, and it was much better. still...

Seems better. Essentially the more the engine is run, the more lean it seems. I made it MUCH richer (over 1/2 a turn) and it seemed good today, had 3 solid flights.

I use both to avoid the problem of a thumb slipping off the stick. i have seen this happen before, and having a finger nearby at least avoids a spring back to centre, which is not always clever!

like charlie says, this sounds like a gyro problem. need more info really, what type of gyro etc. are you using HH mode, if so is the trim centred?

is it a yaw rate demand gyro?

I got this gyro in my Rappy 30 v2, and had the same problem. what i did was get it solid in non-HH mode, then figured out how much trim was there and worked that out with the tail...

seriously though, IMO, the stock muffler works, but the zimmerman is just so much more stable with fuel and revs, and much quieter.

I think the 6XA's do not have a dial for hover pitch, thats it. but you can always just alter that in the menu's.

it just lacks customisable throttle curves, it only has basic 3-point curves in...
