There is a guy on eBay that is making a billet aluminum mount. He sells them for $19.95 plus $2 shipping. The quality is just like in the pics.

The answer depends on how seriuos you are about sticking with the hobby. Yes.. the PNP with purchase of TX, RX, lipo and charger will be more of an investment. However, the 4 extras will also...

look for hobb-e-mart on eBay. That is horizon. You will see lots of returned planes after they have been flown.

They do take returns on planes. They don't take returns on batteries. Once a plane has been flown, that would mean the battery was charged and discharged right?
