RE: BoomBoomBatteries & Ener-G's = waiste of money

Hi Guys,
All repairs are going out today. As posters said above, I got a bad batch, leaving me helpless - this has highlighted the fact that I a.) need a new source for the cells and b.) I need...

I know a lot of you had some long waits on the last round of orders. The good news is I have enough batteries on hand to last the next 3-4 months to avoid that happening again! Orders...

We've been having tons of problems because of our new manufacturer, EG. I'm currently trying to streamline their shipments as well as have them fix our latest shipment of cells (this...

RE: your worst crash or outta controll rc

A few years back I got a brand new Nitro Rustler 2.5 and my grass was slightly wet. Ran it anyway. The throttle servo got stuck wide open and steering went also. Ended up hitting a wall at about...

RE: bad ener-g battery?

Haole,
PLEASE return this pack ASAP. It is extremely dangerous to charge it at this point - it will not take very long to replace, as I have everything going full steam ahead as of yesterday. ...

Demand for Loose EG4600s?

Hey Guys,
Boom Boom is back up and running and I got to thinking. Are there any of you that would be interested in buying EG 4600s loose? A battery building kit (cells, shrink, bars, pigtail)...

RE: how does boom boom batterys work?

Hi Guys,
I just want to clear this up. What has been going on at Boom Boom in the last month or so is that we have a new manufacturer for our cells. This hasn't been an issue in the past, but...

RE: How are Ener-G 4600s? Anyone have any reviews?

I don't know if I count as an unbiased reviewer, but I like the cells better than my IB4200s and EP4200s. It's what I'm currently running and I have tried them all!

RE: WHERE ARE MY BATTERIES, BOOMBOOMBATTERIES?????!!!

I'm very sorry for the delay. Your batteries are in the mail. We were waiting on a shipment of cells after I got back which took longer than expected. I'm sorry for any inconvenience this has...

RE: $1999.99 Charger ( WOW! )

To match cells efficiently you would need at least 20-25 of them + a ton of cells to make a decent matched pack out of unmatched cells. Didn't want to burst anyone's bubble, just the facts!

RE: $1999.99 Charger ( WOW! )

That's actually a matcher, not a charger. Just to put it into perspective, most matchers have more than 20 of them!

RE: I just saw these, now what batterys to choose?

I would do that, as well as wrapping length wise (over the top). Sometimes the shrink on the cells can wear out and short, so its a good idea to have a layer of something between the cells and the...

RE: I just saw these, now what batterys to choose?

Yes, I can shrink them if need be. I generally don't like to, as it tends to overheat the packs - if you're worried about the bars on the sides, a strip of electrical tape going around the pack...

RE: I just saw these, now what batterys to choose?

They're the best cell on the market as of right now in terms of reliability, runtime, and voltage. It seemed ridiculous to stay with the somewhat problematic IB4200s when there was a fantastic new...
