I hate to here of a plane going in on maiden. I lost my Royal on the second flight and still have not for gotten it. Still have my Gold P51 hanging from the ceiling. No guts:eek:

That is looking great, I am still fighting my main gear. It would have been easyer to install the air at the start rather than changing from electric to air .

It is the wheels are not rolling free. Like applying the brakes.
And even causes the same problem on landing[:@]

Check and see how far foward the balancing point moves it can be flown nose heavy but...

Mine threads in about 1/2 in, it depends how thick the prop is . 1/4 in. is the least I would have , that gives you 4 threads to hold the spinner.

I used Dave brown on mine , and used the long adapter. The difference might be I have a YS 120 . It might have on his web sight which to get for your engine.

Don't even talk like that [:@] the first of many. I just got back to mine still having gear trouble can't get them to fit in the wings. Still have not found thin tires.. Back to more reserch...

Looks like we can all learn from each other ;) The main thing is we use what we can get and afford. Just the ease of being able to mount the tank any position and not worrying about...

Well one thing about the YS motors you can put the tank any where with the positive feed pump. I just slaped a 16 oz in the nose and run normal feed and fill. No pressure because you do not need it....

It sure is , its an old YS 120. And thanks for the complement. Still have a lot of detaling to do but I am working on about 5 projects at one time to keep from getting burned out on...
