RE: RCGF Engines

I don't see where the JB would be insufficient. Uncle once used it to repair a rather large hole in a busted magnesium clutch cover on a CR80 Dirt Bike. The repair outlasted the rest of the...

RE: RCGF Engines

Unfortunately, O.S. also likes to raise prices to go with that bar. I'd expect around 700 bones and up. There is a reason why the Chinese imports are popular...they are AFFORDABLE. Without the...

RE: RCGF Engines

Wife....I tried to teach my wife to fly the SuperCub a while back. Is 90 degree's in relation to the ground straight down still considered "flying"?, or is that just "motor assisted high speed...

RE: RCGF Engines

Looks like RCGF bet on the lame horse. To bad too, the reputation Henry and Steve have built is going down the tubes. I guess you could call it poetic justice....

RE: RCGF Engines

Agreed, very nice gesture made by Piston and Aussie, although with Mr. Cohen's track record, no one would have received an engine to service!

RE: RCGF Engines

I think Piston traded in the car containing "the seat" for a new car with a "new seat". Piston can better control the car when someone else isn't holding the steering wheel. Now if he can sell his...

RE: RCGF Engines

This is the part where I get to make a "Ghostbusters!!!" joke before anyone else. Yeah I was actually planning on getting the RCGF 62 for a giant scale ME109 that'll be a winter project. Might as...

RE: RCGF Engines

So I'm messing around the web and notice HobbyKing has started carrying the RCGF 26 and 50. Listed there as RCG but the CDI in the pic still says RCGF. $210 for the 50, $140 for the 26. Anyone here...

RE: RCGF Engines

It should be under 20...that was just a high estimate "just in case". The designer advised the plane could easily come in at 17ish pounds using Gas or Glow (that includes glassing, painting, cockpit...

RE: RCGF Engines

RE: RCGF Engines

Yes, but consider a Warbird isn't going to be doing 3D stuff :D

The Aerovate 62 looks very doable however, hadn't looked at it before.

RE: RCGF Engines

Ok...glad you guys are re-living your youth, but I have a question. I'm going to be building a Giant Scale ME109 sometime this spring and have been doing some gas engine shopping. The plane is "84...
