Wow, your repair was pretty good. Amazing what you can do when it is a favourite. I have over just over 60 hours turbine running time with my Viper.

Hi Erwin, If you have the removeable wing tips Hobbyking have wing bags the perfect size for the viper wings for alot less than other wing bag suppliers.

I could not get mine to run properly on separate power source, but once i plugged into Rx on the lifepo they ran fine. Also i had to change the landing gear lights onto the throttle...

I would say that maybe the 7.4 V is too much for the light controller. If it is a 2 cell Lipo it will be fully charged at 8.4 V this would be too high for it. I am running 2s Lifepo and they...

The L39 i helped with, we ended up replacing aileron hinges with robart and using epoxy to hold them all in. A couple were a little loose but it was fixed once epoxy was used.

You would need to take existing spring out to get the correct diameter, but yes most good hardware stores stock springs. Also Bolt specialists also stock springs if you have no luck at hardware...

6 volts is fine. I am running 2s Lifepo straight into Rx and they run the valves fine. Over 150 flights and counting.

On another aircraft i have open the leading edge a little then inserted some leading edge wood stock and epoxied and then filled around with 1.5 mm or 1/16 in balsa sheeting.

Hi Greg,
I had a similar issue with top wing skin, very difficult to repair the outer skin. I ended up taping the outer skin with masking tape, then mixing some epoxy and thinning it out....
