Looks great but in my opinion the stickers are a must.
I've been trying to talk my friend into putting his on the gold edition but he thinks the stickers willl be worth money some day?? I doubt it....

I cant wait for spring to properly test my truck... right now I have blackfoot rear shocks which are super super soft comapred to the oil filled in front.
Is it possible to go...

IVe had mine since 89' (restored in 2002) and I would love to be able to find the chrome rims for under thirty bucks!
I'm thinking with all the re-releases they should be pretty available on ebay...

Unfortunately I lost the piece in the snow.

Right rear has a chunk out, right front has chunk out, left front has a crack, and left rear was previously glued.
I dont think its a good idea to bash around in 30 degree weather ..lol

I hear that. My rims cracked and crumbled on me bigtime last night... I'm sure its mostly due to the cold temp. but I need new rims.
I just glued my tires on, so hopefully the oven bake works for...

nick, your wheels are slipping inside the tires, you just cant notice it!
you are losing alot of torque and speed!!
I've done the marker test and was amazed!

I actually just glued mine on but I will still check them.

Sounds iffy...Think I'll skip the oven bake.
I'm thinking if I glue enough foam inside the wheel, there wont be any room for slipping.

I was wondering if the ww2 wheels (all four) will fit right on the lunchbox.

They might be more available?

If I break a rim I can pop the tire off and possibly repair the rim, or put a painted yellow one on.

Buy new tires? The only replacement rims I've seen (chrome) only come in set of 4 & go for forty bucks
Tires go for $15
So if I break one rim with glued tires I'm out fifty five bucks???
