Ok, I just simulated what you are getting by hooking up the battery on the heli w/ the TX off. The alternating red/green on the 3 in 1 and my gyro blinking.

How are your switches on the on the front bottom right of the TX set (assumming you are using the stock TX) ?
Should be ail - down (nor), ele - up (rev) , thr - down (nor) , rud - up (rev)

Burnt out CPP tail motors

Is there anything you can do with burnt out cppro tail motors besides throw them away or make some kind of art out of them ?

You DO have the capability. It's the dial on the TX that says CH 5. All the way to + (assumming you have it plugged in right) will be HH mode and all the way to - will be rate.

I don't use the stock TX, but if you have it hooked up right, the dial near the idle up switch (right side of TX) needs to be all the way up (towards the + mark). I use my TX and deal w/ a switch on...

If no A then it isn't a HH gyro as far as I know. the 0704 is not much better than the stock gyro built into the CPP. The 0704A is the HH one. :eek:

Ya, when spooling SLOWLY (until you get used to it) up and training gear on move the left stick right and left a little bit. The tail rotor should calm down a bit.

Are you using the stock TX...

take it off as soon as YOU are comfortable.

If you comfortable tail in, take it off, but keep it close to the ground unless you can recover if the tail drifts.
It will be much more sensitive...

I have noticed that although blades balance, some have a bit differnent angle of attack, and the trailing edge. BTW...
