Well, the tamiya mini-cva shocks are on & they fit fine! Tamiya supplies two lengths of lower ball ends with these shocks... using the longer ones makes the mini-cva shocks the same length as stock...

I've just been eyeballing the unassembled parts vs the stock shocks... They are the shocks listed on Tower's website for WW2. good thought on the longer lower ball end; I think I'd like the distance...

anybody using the tamiya mini CVA shocks (part number 50746)?? I haven't assembled mine yet, they look like they might be a little shorter than the stock ones. I'm thinking of using the one-hole...

This thread made me have to do it.... Yet another wild willy and my first car kit in about 15 years! (mainly an airplane/heli guy). Already added bearings, a novak esc and a Venom 15d motor to it...
