The string itself is fraying. I guess about 6 inches from the pull.

Is there anything I can coat the pull start string with to prevent it from fraying? I am noticing it is starting and want to be proactive....

I am also a newbie and bought my car and and other parts from Wade at allaboutfunhobbies. He doesn't charge for shipping if the order is over $10 and he is a Redcat dealer.

I just called my lhs and asked if they carry the OS A3 glow plug. They said they didn't but they had a Medium Q plug.

Is this also ok? Do they come in different sizes? I am getting it for my...

Hey Shane... If you need parts at a good price reach out to Wade from allaboutfunhobbies.com. I got my Redcat from him and he knows them REAL well and is a pleasure to work with.

I am done breaking in my ultrawide (mind you I have no idea if I did it rigjt but it still runs!) and I want to get some more glow plugs.

Do I still use the OS A3 plugs after break in?

Hi Guys....

I've been using the glow plug igniter which came with the Redcat starter kit. It works real well (by that I mean it starts the car) but I have no clue as to how much juice it has...

Hey Keith,

The glow plug looks good and when it does start it revs REAL fast then cuts out after a few seconds.

I am gonna mess with it a bit more then probably take it to my lhs and beg...

I tried setting it back to factory settings but now I can't get it to start at all. Since I can't even get it to start I am not gonna mess around wieth the clutch (even if I knew where it was!).
