So I've been out of the hobby for a few years. I solds off all my cars, truggy and buggys. I kept just one. It is an old Ofna Jammin' CRT.5. I always felt this little truggy was underrated when it...

I've been out of RC for a few years.Back in the day I owned most of the models available in the 1/10 and 1/8 scale range both nitro and brushless. If you look back at my past posts you'll see many of...

RE: Best for me basher

Go with the LX2e. I would also recomend the it version then pick up the 150a hobbywing combo mentioned above. you will be good to go. I am finding the hobbywing ESC to be more reliable than Castle....

RE: Nitro vs Electric

there is probablly a point on a track where too much power would be a deterant. I'm not a racer so I don't know where that point would be. Electrics though would benifit from more wieght. I bet if...

RE: Nitro vs Electric

These threads are pointless. Both nitro and electric have their place. Some people still run nitro and have alot of fun with it and other preffer electric. Just leave it at that. It is all about...

RE: My new buggy!

Nice buggy! The 8ights are nice. If you run 20% in everything else it would make sense to just run 20% in this one too just for simplicity. But running 30% won't hurt it at all. You don't need to...

RE: What are some must have rc's.

Yeah... Not really. Traxxas wishes it was kind of like a truggy. It has way too many moving parts to be as reliable as a truggy. And where is the tunability of a center diff? Oh wait... It doesn't...

RE: Back in the hobby. I want a good BL Truggy.

That's a great deal for that truggy! Even if you deicide to only run 4s I would still recommend upgrading to a 150 amp ESC or 120 amp at a minimum. I believe you will be pressing your luck with that...

RE: Back in the hobby. I want a good BL Truggy.

RE: Back in the hobby. I want a good BL Truggy.

There are lots of very good truggy kits available but very few of them are brushless. But you can get conversion kits for themfor a brushless swap. This is probably the way to go for what you want....
