mode 1 and mode 2 radio systems

Guys whats the difference btwn mode 1 and mode 2 layout?

Isnt mode 1 layout throttle on the left and mode 2 is throttle on right??

id be going for the hawk sport, cheap 6 channel radio like sanwa rd 6000 super.

Its such a pain with the stupid frequency things....its so much cheaper in...

Just wondering...i notice i can only use the simulator for about 1 hour a day because it takes a lot of concentration...i am just practicing basic hovering about 2 feet off the ground...
