What size GWS ESC do you have? It's possible that the stock prop (10x8) is pulling too many amps and causing your ESC to deliver a death blow to your LiPo.

1320, per my above post, yes, you can get the Spektrum AR6000 Parkflyer Receiver and put it in your Cub. Just bind it to your Spektrum Radio and trim it out....

No, I have the BM 2409-12T...just about the same I think. It came with a Mag8 25Amp ESC also.
And I use APC 10x6 props for the lipo/BL setup.
