Some guys have said that the 3-blade actually slows the plane down. Are you guys running stock components?

I purchased a T-28 RTF and a spare lipo battery. The extra battery is an E-flite 3S 11.1V 2100 mAh 20C (42 amp) Max Contiuous Discharge. Is this battery ok to use with my stock setup? Thanks!
