Just wondering if the sniper (not the XL) is the same airplane as the Superzoom?

RE: Extra stiffy

I have a stiffy now. I got mine from Ohio Model Planes. It seems impossible to recover from harriers with. Once it starts to go you'd better not be too close to the ground. I do not like the way...

RE: Sukhoi Su-26M BNF by ParkZone

I saw the SU-26M up close at the Toledo "Weak Signals" r/c show and decided not to get one. They are so tiny and fragile. The whole thing is paper thin. It is feather light weighing less than the...

RE: Loaded Question: Why is it that rc pilots ignore flight physics?

I can see this thread is getting a little dated. But I have to give my $0.02 on this statement of Dick's. I went thru 9 months of FAA ground-school in a high school program that included over 40...

RE: Field flightbox setup

That's more of a nitro box set up to carry a small 12v battery to be used as a glow plug igniter. You'd be better off with a deep cell marine type battery on a wagon or handcart. Or make an...

RE: Working backwards from a battery to chose an airplane.

Ended up ordering motor directly from hacker. Motor, esc, prop, thunderpower 3s 1350mah ultralight battery, and hardware $129 shipped. Decent price for a premium package like that.

RE: Working backwards from a battery to chose an airplane.

Yeah I'm still looking at motors. I am considering just buying a name brand. BL motors are all getting so good it's hard to tell what i want.
Plane is ready for electronics as soon as the glue...

RE: Working backwards from a battery to chose an airplane.

thanks for the great response. I have the plane 80% assembled. I should take pictures for you. It is listed as 18.5oz on the box. the small 1300mah batteries are not expensive so i'll just buy...

RE: Working backwards from a battery to chose an airplane.

Well guys,
I attended the "Weak Signals" R/C show in Toledo, OH today and came home with a much better perspective of airplanes and a "super stiffy" airplane. It is cheap and light and seems...

RE: Sukhoi Su-26M BNF by ParkZone

Did you say 'pro' orders or 'pre' orders? Is that a sponser pro joke? JK

Seriously though, good question. I pre-ordered from horizon because I know they will have it first. I'm getting...

RE: Working backwards from a battery to chose an airplane.

Great advice on how to pick an airplane. Thank you! I still do not understand how to pick an electric motor based on kv ratings and such. I know I can just but the manufactures suggested motor but...

RE: Working backwards from a battery to chose an airplane.

Thanks guys. I just ordered my dx6. I'm sure I'll be flying soon. I also need some info on brushless airplane motors. I'm in it on a budget and had been looing at the Mystery motors. I found a...

Working backwards from a battery to chose an airplane.

I have 3 11.1v 3s 2100 lipo's and want to build a 3D arf kit. I don't have any idea of which plane/motor/esc will go with my batterys. I know this is backwards thinking. I have been searching...

This might be fun. I did not know anything like this existed. Do you have a link or address and ticket fee info for me?

RE: is there any decent RTF Foamy's around?

By foamies I mean a light cheap foam 3D type that flys fairly slow that reacts quickly and effortlessly to stick input. I did check out the Typhoon 2 but don't know if it is any good. That is why I...

is there any decent RTF Foamy's around?

To the rc air collective.

I've been putting in my time on the sim and like flying the foamy 3D electrics the best. As a pilot I understand what it takes to make an airplane fly so the full...

NEW-ParkZone Sukhoi Su-26M-OFFICIAL THREAD

http://www.amainhobbies.com/product_info.php/products_id/35906

Looks like a winner. Wonder how that 3.7v 110mah is going to hold up. Is this new addition to parkzone actually a brushed motor...

RE: HBFP, any upgrade airframes available?

Thanks for everyone's help. Fact is I'm not about to put any money at all into this $100 heli. It's simply wasted money. I'll just get out the jb weld and save the dough for a grown-up heli. I...

RE: I want to get into R/C Helicopters!

I wish i would've started with a falcon 40 or a honey bee instead of my cx2. The cx2 (and all other similar co-ax birds) reaches a terminal velocity at about 5mph where the lift from the stabilizing...

RE: HBFP, any upgrade airframes available?

Heli-fever's shipping is stupid-expensive. I added 2 extra boom mounts to my order and the shipping jumped from 10.63 to 15.63....Five dollars more shipping for 2 parts the size of a quarter, except...
