thanks, this makes sense...ALE input doesn't change direction of centerline of the plane...Newtons law, objects travel in straight lines, whereas RUD and ELE change direction and counter this...

yes it is split ELE...so that is 178oz on each side. My thoughts are that ALE has larger surface area, so put more torque there....however, when doing hi-alpha or waterfall, it would be nice to have...

I have (2) HS7955TG and (2) HS7985MG....the 7955TG have 333oz and the 7985MG have 178oz....so now the question....would you put the higher torque...

one other important note, when you unplug the remote gain on the assan the servo goes totally dead....no control at all, just a word of caution, whereas the 401 gyro will default to the non-head hold...

well I did get one, and "bench tested it "....looks like 401...but doesn't perform like it at all. I opened it up, the "guts" look nothing similar, just the case. I didn't put it to flight...

Yes problem fixed, it was the low speed needle. I turned it out 1/4 turn, ran perfect. Tune the high speed first, set to MAX rpm, then back down 200RPM, then set low speed
