RE: Newb PLease Help

Well, the clutch shoes and springs are located inside the the clutch bell. U have to take the engine off the truck to get the clutch bell to come off. Once u get the clutch bell off, u should see 2...

RE: What will the next Traxxas Vehicle Be?

I too am very interested to know where u got this information, and also if the information here is actually TRUE, or if its possibly just a rumor or 2 going around. I mean heck yea that would be...

RE: 1/2 throttle load up

Well, like some of the others have mentioned; it soudns like the carb just needs to be "cleaned out" of fuel by doing what u already have; and giving it full throttle. Believe or not my revo 3.3 with...

RE: Thinking this is a Deal

I agree with Larry above. U should also make sure to double check what condition the truck is in BEFORE considering buying it. Even though the guys says it was broken in properly; how do u know 100%...

RE: Is there any reason to buy a better air filter?

]

Actually, yes, I think u would do good to upgrade to possibly a motor saver filter because not only does it provide what seems to me to be a bit better overall protection from dirt,...

RE: is this hobby dying or is it just me

U are probaly right on this one freez; its most likely the "lovely" economy that has well for lack of better terms; "bitten us all hard right in the butt" so to speak. Hopefully though things will...

RE: 300 temp

Well if anything, I would first do what one of the others mentioned; and that is to check ur fuel filter(if u have one that is) to make sure its not clogged with dirt or anything that would impede...

RE: low speed needle

Yes it is normal for that to happen; but if however that happens freqently; it could be that the low speed is too lean in which case it should be richened.

RE: Traxxas at Pep Boys?

I kinda happen to agree with u Dave; on everything u mentioned. Also though, they need to start making things even MORE affordable for people that are on tight budgets that may want to start getting...

RE: T-Maxx transmission problem…

I too would probably most likely want to take the time to open it up and have a look inside to make sure no gears, etc. and the like are stripped out. At this point Im thinking its possibly one of...

RE: Engine has trouble turning spur wheel. Screetching sound at high speeds.

How can u be 100% certain though that it is not a trans issue? Because it is indeed quite possible for the trans to make noises like this if something is not right...

RE: need help

Now that I have read the last post here and whatnot, I would indeed say go back and check for possible air leaks, because it is possible that air is entering somewhere, causing the engine to lean...

RE: Kyosho GXR28 ENGINE TROUBLE!!!

I wouldn't necessairly say that u would have to change the o-rings. The only reason u should have to do that is if u test for air leaks in the carb and u find out that in fact there is one or more...

RE: REVO 40% POWER LOSS ???

Well, if in doubt, I would try re-setting the needles to "default" settings and try re-tuning from there. Especially if u think u may have "created" the problem, the best solution that comes to mind...

RE: Engine has trouble turning spur wheel. Screetching sound at high speeds.

Well, if the spur gear spins freely when the engine is stopped, I think that is actually somewhat normal, but I could be wrong there. If in doubt. like I said, it might be worth having a look inside...

RE: Thinking about going to nitro.

Like one of the others already mentioned; the "old" version with reverse, does not have waterproof servos or electronics, but I do believe the "new" version is at least somewhat waterproof, so long...
