Why Moose. Go with TNT landing gear for your carbon fiber needs. Get the gear for a Sig Something-Extra. It will work well on your Magic and takes about four (4) days to get it.

Magic owners thread

I run a 6v 1300 mah five cell pack in all my planes. The little extra weight is worth the servo speed and torque.

I had flying wires on the tail of my Magic as well. I took some left over...

Magic owners thread

Wel,l I guess I may have to get out the ol' scales and take a closer look at this. I thought that the TT42 w/muff was a few hairs under a lb. Being a bushing engine I know that it should be lighter...

Magic owners thread

Well, I finally did it. I killed my Magic. I had that Webra 40 on an MCP just howlin' and everything was fine....until the impact with the ground, the shearing of the wing-bolts and the rotation of...

Jett 30 powered Cougar..

Yes I do. Go to the magic owners thread on page 3 or 4. There are some pics as well as shortcuts to Jet Hobbies. I saw the Fun Air 40 and the Fun Air 20 at an RC show in January. It's and ARF and...

Jett 30 powered Cougar..

Wait a minute, I referenced the wrong thread. We were talking about it in the "Magic Owner's Thread", not this one.

Jett 30 powered Cougar..

I looked at Phillybaby's site and it's final.......you can get the Cougar here in the states. It's called the Fun Air 40. The Fun Air is a total rip off of the Cougar. It's the same plane I've...

Jett 30 powered Cougar..

We're talking about a Weston Cougar right? If so, where can you buy one. I've heard a lot about the Cougar, but I've never seen one in the wild and I've never seen one for sale.

Tell me where to...

H-9 Ultra Stick .40 Engine question

I,m using a ST .51 on mine with a mousse can pipe. It's light enough, has unlimited vertical and is extremely fast. I have the quad flaps set up and it's really not that cool. I can crow, couple...

FunFly Virgin Has Questions

I talked to him in Puyallup. I saw the plane you're talking about. They had two of them, both with Web 32's. One of the planes was twelve years old according to the guy I was talking to.

I fixed...

Where the heck did you get one? Do you have a source on the inside?

FunFly Virgin Has Questions

What about a Magic? For $99 bucks it's all fun-fly. Pay another $49 and get a TT GP 42 to throw on the front of it. For $148 plane/engine combo, how can you go wrong?

I had a TT Lazy Tiger...

Magic owners thread

Tailspnr,

Go to the hardware store and get a small cylinder of MAPP gas. It will work with any propane torch tip you may have laying around. In addition, get some 3/32 prefluxed brazing wire. ...

U-Can-Do-3D

What about a Pizazz? It's a little cheaper than a UCD3D. I have one with a Saito 72. As long as you keep it light it will really tear it up (I think everyone says that about 3D planes-Duh). I use...

I think your right. I also think that the 20 would make a great electric too. Most "park flyers" or electrics just don't have the size and ability. A big cobalt motor in that thing would hover it...

I finally found some. These are pics of the Jet-Hobbies Fun Air 40 and Fun Air 20. These are pics from the Puyallup show in January. These are awesome fun fliers and they can't keep them in stock....

dntmn,

Their website is www.jet-hobbies.com. They used to have a picture of it on the site. When they sold out the first time, they took the plane off the internet catalog. I'll bet if you...

dntmn,

Yeah, I do. Every time all call up there they say they're out of them and expecting more. What good was it to be put on the waiting list if they sell them to everyone else but those on...

I took off the OPM tuned pipe and made a mini-tuned pipe out of my TT muffler. That sucked so I made this one. It's a 6oz White Rain mousse can and Webra muffler mutation. It's lighter than the...

Magic owners thread

I like the wire gear. It's light, easy to fix and crumples in a crash. If you fly your Magic like I do, it probably hits the ground on occasion. I would hate to crash my other planes doing the...

I figured something out. The landing gear on all Magics is a little weak (blazing flash of the obvious). It's nice when you crash becasue it acts kind of like a shock obsorber. I've already...

Well I know that the Webra 35 heli rocks. I have a friend with one on a Magic. He took the head off and ground the fins down so it looks like an airplane motor. It took forever to break that thing...

Well I sure can't wait until the Heckler gets shipped. I have a couple Webra 40's and a 50 as well. I think I may sell one for a 35 Aero and slap it on a Heckler.

A 53? Man, that's a lot of...

Magic owners thread

I have a Thunder Tiger GP 42 on mine with a tuned pipe. It gives unlimited vertical. I think your 40 LA should be about the same. Put a mousse can pipe (MCP) on it to get more RPM and power.
