RE: Mach 1 Laser Kit Build

Sounds good Leo.

You've been notably absent for quite a while...

RE: Mach 1 Laser Kit Build

Leo,

that looks like one very serious top block! I'm glad you're back to the builds.

It also looks like you sorted out the picture problem. Did you try the email technique or some other...

RE: Mach 1 Laser Kit Build

So much for my theory...

it doesn't look like things got fixed on upload. It is actually strange how RCU handles things because on occasion it will do the same thing as is happening to you...

RE: Mach 1 Laser Kit Build

Leo,

I think the issue you might be referring to has to do with picture resolution. It is possible that by default your camera shoots at fairly low resolution - something like 640x480. I think...

RE: Mach 1 Laser Kit Build

Right, Ido remember now - I'm going to reread your entire thread some time when Iget to order my kit from Dan. It'll probably be a Sequel (unless he has something even more enticing!) so I look...

RE: Mach 1 Laser Kit Build

Yup! As smooth as a whistle.

Keep up the excellent work Leo. Ilike your discipline and steadfasteness. That's the way to get a pattern ship (or two!) done without knowing it.

What's the state...

RE: Mach 1 Laser Kit Build

Mmm... those slim Krafts sure look slick! Maybe its time to put mine into action.

Smooth building Leo. Keep it up. I can't bring myself to start another thread although Ido enjoy it.

RE: Mach 1 Laser Kit Build

That's one way of ensuring nice circular wells.

I used 1/64" ply on the wells of the foam wing model I'm currently building but Ithink I'll go back to 1/16" balsa for the next. Make the wells and...

RE: Mach 1 Laser Kit Build

He, he...

Pete, that's why we make use of the laundry room shelving... Actually, the kitchen is not a bad place to hang models - you get to steam your canopies every once in a while....

RE: Mach 1 Laser Kit Build

Leo,

apart from the excellent progress and job on your two builds, Ihave to say that you have one sweet workshop! Iespecially like the vegetation and light streaming in through the window. Do you...

RE: Mach 1 Laser Kit Build

Nicely done Leo! Those first ones did look like a bit of a tight squeeze.

How do you find those slimline Kraft's handle on landing and take off? I've a few and haven't gotten around to using them...

RE: Mach 1 Laser Kit Build

Leo,

you must have done it before if you're planning on installing HS-85's in a Mach 1 [X(]. Of course, they are comparable to muscle servos back in the day but still somehow they'd make me...

RE: Mach 1 Laser Kit Build

Hey Leo,

wonderful job you're doing here.

The size of that rudder, or rather, the size of the fixed rudder portion at the top, caught my eye. I had never realized that the Mach 1 had such a...
