Haven't torn into the motor yet but the guy told me the 87 has over-sized pistons, along with clutch work and studded track . The 89 ran awesome, motor was stock but I think it had some clutch work...

what kind of chassis braces are they? they look like pretty nice pieces. Im also going to ditch my full cage, and run a New Era 3pt Roll bar. that'll shave a good bit of weight.

upgrade the springs, shock pistons, shock oil and shock locations to help with rollovers. Im running Trinity Heavy Duty Springs and 40 weight oil with 3 hole pistons. my maxx (pics posted above)...

I took my dremel tool with the cutoff wheel and ground in slots on my brake rotor, beleive it or not it helped a good bit.

expect this to happen, its a 2 stroke your gonna have exhaust oil spray all over the rear corner. about the only thing you can do is put a stinger (exhaust deflector) on to direct the spray down or...
