RE: Restore, Not Destroy! LB's Tamiya Stadium Blitzer Project!

Nicely fixed, should hold well.

The ST,SB,BB wheels are 2.2" inch, so 2.2" truck tires should fit.

I use these on my Stadium Thunder:...

RE: Restore, Not Destroy! LB's Tamiya Stadium Blitzer Project!

I don't really know anything about brushless, but when you say "track" do you mean race-that would be interesting seeing the blitzer racing.

RE: Restore, Not Destroy! LB's Tamiya Stadium Blitzer Project!

Nah, the Australian flag has a bigger star down the bottom, one the thing I can't work out is that the flag is mirrored-the union jack should be on the left side??

RE: Restore, Not Destroy! LB's Tamiya Stadium Blitzer Project!

I know 0 things about most older non-tamiya R/C's[&:]. This is probably due to the fact I'm younger and either wasn't alive or to young to know about R/C's

RE: Restore, Not Destroy! LB's Tamiya Stadium Blitzer Project!

Thanks Eman

I obviously don't have TRF shocks(and if I did I wouldn't cover them up-to pretty) so thought I would do something different with them. They seem to keep most of the dirt out but the...

RE: Restore, Not Destroy! LB's Tamiya Stadium Blitzer Project!

A few bits and pieces arrived from tower-Replaced the bent axle and put some"racing style" decals/stickers on the ST shell but I'm not sure if it suits. I'll get some pics of the shell soon.

RE: Restore, Not Destroy! LB's Tamiya Stadium Blitzer Project!

Yeah 90f would be really really hot in New Zealand. Even in the summer it can be really cold so it must help cool the motor quite a bit. Its only 52f outside here at the moment though it is the...

RE: Restore, Not Destroy! LB's Tamiya Stadium Blitzer Project!

Took the ST for a spin to get an idea of the motor temps. After 5minutes of running the sports tuned was at 90F which isn't that hot. I will do a longer a run and get some more readings.

RE: Restore, Not Destroy! LB's Tamiya Stadium Blitzer Project!

Ouch[:@]

It'll be interesting to see how you fix that, not many spares around anymore. It must have been pretty brittle for it to break on that kind of jump.

RE: Restore, Not Destroy! LB's Tamiya Stadium Blitzer Project!

Looks good, those brushes must nearly be burning at that temp. Its about time I got a heatsink for my ST too.

RE: Restore, Not Destroy! LB's Tamiya Stadium Blitzer Project!

$5...not bad for a working no motor limit esc. Have you tested the setup yet? To see how well it works?

RE: Restore, Not Destroy! LB's Tamiya Stadium Blitzer Project!

That suspension mod does make a large difference to the body height, body looks good though for $5.
Let us know how it runs when the rain stops
