Both cars are very good I have always loved the TC4 but the cyclone can be upgraded to a serious pro car so go with the cyclone.

If you are running the original Tamiya style battery plugs the best thing you can do is to throw them in the bin the best thing to do is to buy deans plugs or blade conectors the original battery...

You can't go wrong with an electric losi good quality but check out HPI sprint2 drift car and the YOKOMO drift cars they are good to look at and reliable.

dish rims don't make much difference in off road cars even on road cars it is only slight advantage.

Yes you should rebuild it the RC10 is still simular to the b4 and is still able to kick butt my rc10 was a team car from the early 90s Team Assosiated is a quality rc manufacturer.

HPI sprint is the way to go you can hot it up as much as you like the parts are interchangeable with other makes.
HPI cars are not suddenly discontinued Tamiya have a habbit of doing that the parts...
