I have used the Align Feathering Shaft HS1003T. Works well and I can get them at the local hobby shop.

I think if you have read much of this thread you will go with the Falcon. Once you get all of the initial setup right it is a lot of fun to fly.

I use a generic 1800 in mine. The case is the same size except it is longer. It doesn't bother the CG any more than the standard battery. I run mine with the lead coming out of the front of the helo...

Any suggestions for a good battery charger? I am using the chargers that came with the Falcon and my e-flite cx2. Not having a lot of luck with batteries. Maybe 10 - 15 recharges and they are toast.

I get about 10 - 12 minutes on a battery. Sorry ... but I don't know a lot about chargers!

I use the 1800 mah batteries on mine with no problem .... they slide right into the battery tray. You just have to reverse them so the battery connection comes out the front. No difference in CG...

I'm in exactly the same position ..... except my 400 SE 3D arrives tomorrow. I have a Blade CX2 that I can fly anywhere, but the Exceed G2 I haven't even been able to get to hover.

It is fully upgraded with brushless motor and full aluminum upgrades! I still can't believe the RPM difference and response with the brushless.
