NACA # for a 40% IMAC plane ??????

Looking or some help on a wing design for a 40% Extra. The plane is for IMAC flying only. A wing that will penatrate the wind well and not be bounced around in gusty conditions.

Anyone out...

my ex with this set up is that if the low end is not set real close to lean it will sag in slow rolls. I do have the same plane and motor set up. Also know someone that was having this same problem...

Might be a good idea to glass over the joint with some 2 oz fiberglass. Then blend it in real good. The joint might break some day if it is bumped .

The lighter weight of the DA50 would lead to a better flying warbird. This should be your first consideration.

As for the DA50 mid range burble. Somebody does not have a clue how to tune a...

38# RTF. Thats a little heavy IMHO. Mine weighs 35# 2 ozs RTF. ;) Thats with cannisters. It take long to do all the liting work than the nnormal build.

give it the juice easy , dont drill it. Also on a new plane I set the elevator to a nice low rate and then another even lower rate. The elevator can be the tricky part to a new flight. The real low...

If you enough poly glue the expansion rate has the power to lift what ever you have it weighted down with. I saw this terriable demonstration with my own two eyes once. I was lucky and saw something...

2 8711s in the tail is more than enough for power. Mine will do a knife edge wall or knife edge loop. You have removed enough balsa on the sides of the fuse to make up for the servo weight.

Thanks Bill. I wish I could come up with some skills to go with the planes ability.

The bottom of the plane has 480 2 inch squares on the bottom. Takes 45 mins to cut them out , and about 6 hrs...
