Very true, My XS had the pinion come off (not loctited from factory) and its a pain to tear it apart.

Yeah the white van was a GMC safari, I sold that and got a brand new Toyota corolla when i started working at Toyota. Which was totaled in my accident. So I went back to a van again... KIA sedona.

What are the 5 from HPI? I only see one DSX2 body that fits with no mods...

You are correct. your top end will lower but you will have more torque..

Sounds good, The fan should bring it down 10 or more degrees and then you just need to gear for temps, Smaller pinion lower temps. If you cant hold your finger on the motor for 3 seconds its getting...

Get a IR temp gun for sure, You may have to mod the motor guard to get the fan in there....No biggie tho.
