Yeah you'll need a motor, servo, bat and esc to run an upgraded jet boat.

Long time no post.

Aight well my first boat is dead... D:

I smashed it into a hidden rock which punctured the hull, (and it was an actual Graupner hull) so it started flooding with water...

Well I've just got all my parts together and tub tested it! The power is immense, could barely hold it properly.

However, like most people say... The dog joint couple well... melted and blew up....

I'm actually using the real Grapner jet sprint, it's slightly different in terms of the hull; it's a bit thicker and of a greater quality. As for the coupling the one I have should fit.

Well. I'd say your Kv is way too high on a 3 cell! Because any higher then 3000 with a 3 cell it just churns water not really doing anything wasting energy!

I'd say 20c isn't enough, best get...

I agree with you, having those deep guide lines. Jet sprint boats have to turn round tight corners and this will eliminate sideways motion... On the other hand it needs to be non resistant to...

I found where you can buy a 29mm booster, but not an actual steering drive.

Nope I don't actually have a 29mm, it's some other size anyway I'm using that in my other boat so it doesn't matter.

It's in post unfortunately, but it has the jet unit. The seller did not specify that size, but when it arrives I will measure it :D

Thanks, yeah 'bit overkill and too much $, thanks for the advise.
I got a power supply, it's good very versatile i use it for my 450 heli and it suits these boat bats too.

Hmmmm even though I have a pilots licence anyway but you say we are not allowed full scale if not a real F35B than a huge scale one.

A fully functional F25B 1/2 scale with working guided weapons...
