RE: Question on Which Radio(s) are Best for 1/16 Tamiya F/O RC Tanks?

Personally I HATE spektrum radios. After something along these lines http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Je764AvkRlQ happened to me I said to he!! with them.

It also made me say to he!! with 2.4 for...

RE: Tamiya or HL??

If you where to battle the tank, what is the rock bottom $$ required to get it ready? Say rock bottom on both a HL and Tamiya.

RE: Tamiya or HL??

It is all going to come down to your use, for ME I am not sold on things like a metal hull and flexing and such.

I will end my comments (I hope) on this with..... figure out what you are going...

RE: Tamiya or HL??

I like your post....and as I suggested the differences will depend on their intended use.

For ME (and I am still new) but I see the HL tanks as something I can model and move around the house...

RE: Tamiya or HL??

I see 100% where you are coming from, I fly as well and while I don't see a HL tank to equate to an easy star and a Tamiya to full house warbird I do think that some small steps should be taken. I...

RE: Tamiya or HL??

I think it comes down to you and what YOU want to do. If you are going to model the tank to 10/10 then you are unlikely to run it much if at all. If that is the case then I think it is stupid to...

RE: best airbrush

You can use any compressor, it will just be big and noisy.

The big thing you need to get is a water seperator...I have one at the tank and one in line. I am pretty new at it as well. The mix...

RE: Not armor but model related - aircraft

So can electric, cheap (under $300) ducted fans can hit 100+mph out of the box, and lipo fires are nothing to sneeze at.

People that can invest the kind of money to fly turbine models likely do...
