With my MMGT the stock engine seem to always run hot when the truck was running good. When the HSN is rich my truck would run sluggish.
I didnt have the engine long enough to figure it out ...

....Again...there's nothing wrong with the dogbone/axial. Its just the way it was made....which will not effect durability.

The stock manifold is not in good condition. It works fine but it as baked on dirt and grime. it can be cleaned but I never tried. I'll post a pick of it when I get to my comp. If u want it just pay...

I had a blast last year with my mini...but this year im focusing on my big MGT. I dont have the time to maintain 2 trucks.

The stock engine always seem to run hot. I only had it in my truck...

Ive abused my mini (with my wobbly wheels) going on 3 years now and i have had no problems with axials or wheels due to the wobble. As u drive it, u wont notice it and it wont...

yeah.... even the guy at my LHS notice the wobble and asked if they were on correctly. I guess the wheels do have alot of play in them...but since the Mini was my first truck, i didn't notice it that...

is it the tires that wobbles or the axial that the wheel is attached to? On my Mini all 4 wheels feel as if the nuts are loose and they have a lil play when i move them but they are perfectly fine.

Do u hear any clicking noise from the diff?
I had problems with my diff when i first got my MMGT....but i could here clicking noise before it went.

Also check that all 4 pins are in behind...

Be sure to check all 4 grab screws good. Also check the pins in the drive shaft....and check that all 4 hex pins are in.

The MGT 8.0 manifold wont work!....the 8.0 has side exhaust. I mention to u before that the manifold from the 4.6/.21 well work....or the savage manifold. :eek:

On my truck the stock shocks keep breakin so i switched the MGT 4.6/8.0 shocks (one on each corner)....but they break too. I was going to just change to the factory team aluminum caps but now i see...

The entire clutch setup (clutch nut, shoes, springs, flywheel, and clutch bell) swaps over to the BB engine. You shouldnt need anything else.

BAD idea.....for one, it wont fit....even with the New Era BB Kit. Second ...waaaay over kill, and it wont even be that fast...just crazy low end torque with will most likely ruin the drivetrain.

LOL...i had a Axial .32 (torque monster) and currently the .28rr in my mini...... and ive had NO problems with the tranny.
There are a few other peps on here that have big blocks also....and i dont...

No...the stock Mini MGT engine has a rotary carb...3.3 has a slide carb. Best bet is to get the BB conversion...then mostly any engine (.18 - .32) could be mounted on the Mini.

I have the O.S. CV-R 18 in mines and i love it! Good power and speed! Engine wasn't hard to install. I got the standard shaft version (OSMG2104). I had to cut the shaft and buy the Team Assosiated...
