Is it functional. I wouldn't mind a little more stroke. But then I have the gpm rear end so it may not be compatible with mine.

the sport tuned motors run a lot hotter than the silver can motors do. you'll burn that one up quick. gear way down and make sure your gear mesh isn't too tight. and ball bearings will help.

side by side packs are easy to solder with battery bars and a good soldering iron. it does take some work though. if its a stick pack good luck.

of course with a good motor slash batt. and its a great basher. lipos will be fine in that car also. just get some good bearings and do the basic mods and you'll love it.
