That's great!! I've got a lot of the same old electronics as you too! I actually have the same Magnum radio, but mine was the FM version. Pretty crazy how far things have come.

To me that looks like it would make it wheely and handle even more than it does stock!!!:) The reason it's mounted on the front of the axle is to stop the axle wrap that plauges these trucks!

I run an Orion Method R SV2 17T in mine. I use an 18T pinion with it and it works great. It's way faster than stock, but it still wheelies and is controllable. I think it's about the perfect motor...

IMO opinion you don't really need to glue the tires on the LB, unless you're running a hotter motor or different gearing. The LB doesn't spin the rims in the tires if you just leave it stock though....
