RE: THE Official Traxxas E-REVO Thread

This sums up a stadium truck pretty nicely Wikipedia - stadium truck. A short course truck is pretty similar but the body covers the wheels like in a real car and the wheels are usually smaller. As...

2. The Newbright cars are toy quality, which means they're almost exclusively integrated systems, which means you just can't upgrade any of the...

RE: THE Official Traxxas E-REVO Thread

I don't think any foams are made specifically for the e-revo, but you should be able to put some together using big enough donuts and a 17mm hex rim. The only difference I have been able to discern...

RE: THE Official Traxxas E-REVO Thread

That's what I was thinking, what with the chunky tread blocks. But now, I might have to use some sort of street treads since we just had to move to California...

RE: THE Official Traxxas E-REVO Thread

I think proline might make some, but I can't find 'em on their site. Anyone want to clarify? To Metallover: thanks for the tip, I see what I can do.

RE: THE Official Traxxas E-REVO Thread

RE: THE Official Traxxas E-REVO Thread

Is this from one guys singular experience, or your multiple experiences? I respect your advice, but I don't think one instance is enough to go off of.

RE: THE Official Traxxas E-REVO Thread

Anybody have thoughts on the new Maxamps lifepo4 batteries? I think they're overpriced ($270 +shipping for 6750mah and 9.9v), but might have some unseen benefits.

RE: THE Official Traxxas E-REVO Thread

Yeah, that trusty piece of knowledge almost never fails. The exploded views are almost 1:1, so it's actually really accurate. My first kit was a Tamiya TT-01, which was my second rc after a 'new'...

RE: THE Official Traxxas E-REVO Thread

Speaking of exploded views, here's a trick I learned when I built my first kit: lay the screws and asorted transmission pieces on the actual exploded view. After that, just make sure not to bump...

RE: THE Official Traxxas E-REVO Thread

Lipo's actually go to their grave if you discharge them too much, so a lipo cutoff shuts down the battery so you don't permanently kill it. A very good idea, especially with hundred dollar high...

RE: THE Official Traxxas E-REVO Thread

Hey, I had an idea: what if someone made aluminum e-revo shafts? Fully extendable and machined out of a chunk? I think you would be able to design without too much difficulty, and you could put some...

RE: THE Official Traxxas E-REVO Thread

You'd think 8 years at the address would clear that up, but nooooooo. Ah, well, I don't mind the wait, just the fact that one thing after another happens to delay my would-be instant gratification....

RE: THE Official Traxxas E-REVO Thread
